It's be interesting to see what people wrote if they couldn't see others' responses, e.g. for some period of time (say several days), everyone's responses were hidden. How much do early responses influence later ones?

The armed services is nothing but lowly paid mercenaries. They haven't been in the business of protecting freedom for about forty years. Apply at McDonalds; you'll still have nightmares, but at least they will involve fried food rather than blood.
