Just because it's law it don't make it right. "We are trying to keep you safe. "and while we are at it a bit of financial rape on the side. 90 quid! For civil disobedience.

Yes this new thing of being financially (and arrestably) culpable for defying an LEO (no matter how unreasonable or unlawful their demands) is part of this whole campaign to make everyone passive and subservient.

Is this a predictable consequence of that anti-Sharia law bullshit?

If women want to cover their face then that's fine. Who cares...?

Facial recognition hacks; that's who. They are watching...

Also, did anyone watch the video below it? It's messed up, and indirectly relevant.

    This is dangerous & terrifying.

Why? Suppose law enforcement wants to find you, they would look for you, and would ask other people if they have seen you. This basically automates the process of finding people. Is the idea that law enforcement should be effective dangerous and terrifying?

No, it's the fact that we're living in a dystopian surveillance state.

Exactly. Giving up our freedoms in intensifying increments for the false idea of "security" is terrifying and dangerous. Not to mention it is well-known that this technology mis-identifies people regularly. You'll be in jail for a while until they figure it out, if they care to.

What freedom is being given up?

How is the idea of security false?

How do you know that false identification guarantees someone will end up in jail? What if they also have ID on them that clarifies who they really are?

It sounds to me like you're throwing FUD at something, when in truth you just want to have the ability to commit crimes without it being a certainty that you would get caught. You like the idea that law enforcement is limited in its effectiveness.

Please don't tell me what I would like or want. I don't do crimes, which is why I don't like being treated like a criminal in all sorts of new ways and circumstances. I am not throwing FUD, I am expressing my opinion that ordinary people should not have to prove their innocence before any crimes have even been committed.

You can't answer the questions I put forth, but go ahead and insist you're concerns are honest ones.

should not have to prove their innocence before any crimes have even been committed.

What does facial recognition have to do with establishing guilt? You sound like you're very confused.

You, you, you. My concerns are my concerns, Thank you.

Oh, right, I forgot we come to saidit to keep things to ourselves.

Or apparently to be confrontational and accusatory. Such fun!

You just come seeking validation, apparently. You'll never grow if you don't challenge your assumptions.
