weird, not a single mention of the 2002 coup anywhere, which was so very similar.

Top question if the US media was free and actually did their job: How much did the "National Endowment for Democracy" pay up this time? In 2002 they brazenly backed the military coup with millions, despite valid & democratic elections.

Every event in the media is treated as a singular, context-less, one-time event. They never put things in to context, unless the context serves their purpose. That's one of the biggest failings of modern news media, imo

Exactly, unless like you say it serves their desired geopolitical or socioeconomic agenda. Schema method, used in perception management is the right term to use.

In psychology and cognitive science, a schema (plural schemata or schemas) describes a pattern of thought or behavior that organizes categories of information and the relationships among them.[1] It can also be described as a mental structure of preconceived ideas, a framework representing some aspect of the world, or a system of organizing and perceiving new information.[2] Schemata influence attention and the absorption of new knowledge:

people are more likely to notice things that fit into their schema, while re-interpreting contradictions to the schema as exceptions or distorting them to fit. Schemata have a tendency to remain unchanged, even in the face of contradictory information.

Schemata can help in understanding the world and the rapidly changing environment.[3] People can organize new perceptions into schemata quickly as most situations do not require complex thought when using schema, since automatic thought is all that is required.[3]

Perception Management: Schema : Schema: organization and interpretation of information based on past experiences and knowledge

Counterpart: Fake information, fake statistics, fake shooings, lie about stories and broadcast propaganda endlessly, and then back up that propaganda with more propaganda. Use past propaganda as evidence for new propaganda. Eventually, the only thing people will believe is lies.

You keep using this procensorship comment.

Do you oppose the first amendment right if free speech?.

Do you support censorship?

This is the essence of propaganda, as well.

Tactic: Repeat the state/corporate sponsored lies until people believe the lies.

This is a propaganda comment. You are a supporter of censorship in another post that you submitted.

Jesus[F,S] 1 insightful - 0 funny - 4 hours ago People do expose these falsehoods. The house of cards will NOT collapse unless the majority become aware. That’s why censorship is vital. We can not let them take over the internet.

We can not let them take over the internet.

"We"...? Who exactly are you working with???

You think it is a little out of contex for the meaning of the entire paragraph. I meant to say that Censorship is vital for them, the people trying to take over the internet and WE need to not let that happen. Awareness is the only way out of this.

Excellent point.

Depends, the 'real' soldiers (aka the boots, not the fatty-assed generals) are not so much Maduro fans.
