They are severely misrepresenting the place in the article. They will beat you up and throw you out if you do hard drugs. The only things they even sell there are weed, hashish & mushroom. At least that was still the case the last time I was there.

I have never felt unsafe going there. That place is actually a pretty decent case for anarchy.

I enjoyed my visit to Copenhagen a few years back on a weekend city break, but didn't get a chance to see this little town. I'll stop by there on my next visit.
