Winning the culture wars sounds great until you realize people are willing to do it at all costs. Even if that means becoming a literal dictatorship, so be it. There's no reason, no morality. Only anger, hatred, and fear. Another problem is it's no longer about "leave me alone". It's now "burn it all down, return to tradition, purge the heretics". A lot of those whom the media accused of hating "minorities" now truly do hate those "minorities". There are more important things than simply "owning the libs" at every opportunity. This obsession is extremely dangerous, and those who fall for it will turn to the dark side and destroy themselves.

Ron DeSantis wants to silence ideas he doesn't like on college campuses and even private businesses. It reminds me of the old days when I and conservatives were upset about how liberal snowflakes shut down speakers they disagree with. But they're going to do it themselves now? Cut me a break, we don't need another Democrat party.
