The "download" button is fine but when pressed opens another tab that fails.

The right click over video menu has "save video as..." greyed out, along with a couple other options, while all the working options are in white.

What browser do you use? I'm in Brave.

I should tell you, the download button for some of Invidious' instances is working again for me. I can actually download videos (and audios) now.

Thanks!

You are welcome.

Yes, the download button does the exact same thing for me. Its purpose is to download. If it doesn't achieve that, then it failed.

I use Palemoon. I would advise against using Brave for the reasons explained in these two articles (although I haven't followed Brave much, the information there made me unwilling to use it). (Palemoon is becoming rather problematic, though.)

You don't seem to address the screen recorder solution or the solution that starts with clicking the 'page info' button. Do they work for you?

Please respond. Did my solutions work for you? Did the articles I linked you convince you to stop using Brave?

realpanzer linked it too and I said it was "Very helpful!".

I still have that tab open. I need to go over it again and add it to /s/DecentralizeAllThings/wiki. I'm very disappointed to find that LibreWolf is a pipe dream, but I'd rather have the truth than false hope. Notably absent is Libre Browser. After PaleMoon what besides Web Browser (needs a better name, ie. Eclipse Browser)? Seems like we're doomed.

I also have Falcon (always crashes), Basilisk, Opera, Vivaldi, WaterFox, and PaleMoon installed, though I don't use them. I meant to try them. I will start with PaleMoon though. That's a whole thing.

I've never screen-recorded anything. If desperate I suppose I could start researching those programs. I don't recall seeing 'page info'.

Thank you. When I am talking about the 'Page info' button, I mean this button.
