How do you mean exactly? To me it just kind of looks like they're just repeating the same playbook again

Now they are leveraging political power to influence support for their independence instead of just stating they have it and expecting Spain to respect that statement.

Ah I see, I thought you were referring to Spain. Yeah hopefully there can be a graceful separation, but it seems Spain is basically going to keep throwing a hissyfit trying to keep everything under the Spanish federal umbrella.

Basically. The only constitutional way Catalan can leave Spain is if the rest of Spain agrees. It's bullshit.
