"It's really really sad. Please don't blame me."

"I want them to understand that we have nothing to do with this crazy violence that's been happening,"

"I want them to understand what's been going on because it's obviously a smear by the press."

Probably frightened by Congress' attention. Also maybe he decided to wait it out, it's probably costly to fight DDoS attacks without Cloudflare/BitMitigate help.

since 8ch really did take down the content fast, it really is a smear. Especially as instagram was the prime host.
