Nice post. This is what saidit is here for.

And here I am looking forward to lab-grown meat. Just imagining how much shit that's gonna go through with established business lobbying against it.

I hope they don't win, I like veggie burgers.

I've had a few I like. Black bean burgers have been pretty good.

Honestly, I like tofu and seitan as ingredients. Made a country-fried tofu that my wife said were a great and reminded her of chicken nuggets.

I just want to keep options open.

Why isn't there an s/vegan yet?

Well I'm not vegan myself but there are certainly vegan foods that I've enjoyed.

Given the makeup of Saidit I would be interested in hearing from non-crazy vegans.

To elaborate, by crazy I'm referring to people like the couple that tried to force their cat to live off a vegan diet. An obligate carnivore on a vegan diet.

Oh gosh, those vegans scare me. It's a risky idea; if you have a good vet that says go ahead and try it (while keeping an eye on the cat), then I'd say maybe, but I'm just gonna wait til lab-grown meat before I try that on my pets.

Most vegan food I've encountered is just vegetarian food without cheese or eggs. The only vegan food I find disgusting is vegan cheese. That shit is disgusting.

I hope neither side wins and personal preference is available to all.

This whole "no more meat" and "meat causes global warming" thing is total Agenda 21 bullshit.

It certainly is strange, or amazing the amount of 'wtf news' that's coming out on an ever increasing level. College-gate, and Trump's Golan Heights gift, are both more of the same.

Where does it all lead?

It leads to a situation where the military-industrial-banking complex jerks humanity around for their personal profit, and everyone is complicit because they're either too confused or stunned or brainwashed or afraid or bought-off to say anything to the contrary

I wonder what I missed during last week's NZ censorfest.

A shitload of folk getting pissed off about it mate, but that's about it besides the usual BreXit this, Trump that BS I think.

I think Britain becoming an orwellian nightmare state is kind of a big deal to people who live there.

Ignorance is Strength

Those aren't words Democrats use openly, but it certainly describes their ideological bent.

Did Saturday Night Live actually say that in a skit?

If Reddit taught me anything, it's that there's political purpose behind every sneaky post.

I'll pick the the beef industry claim for $1,000 Alex!

"Is the true claim that they don't want plants, while containing protein, to be labeled as 'beef' since they are NOT beef?"
