If this was in the US it'd be tied for the 2nd most kills in a mass shooting.

But because it's in peaceful NZ, in the 3rd largest city, I imagine it'll seem like 9/11 to them. All sorts of legislation is probably about to get forced through. Some good, most bad, probably.

Plus their only neighbor Australia already bans guns, basically.
