Maybe they can take some refugees from Jaguar and build the company back into something that doesn't suck.

IDK what they improved on this year with the Mercedes engine, but it was the best Grand Prix year since 1998. And their Formula E cars are doing well. So the UAE money could help them deal with their otherwise decades old losing streak and thus maintain their current success.

McLaren’s racing business, founded in 1963, is no longer officially part of the group after a consortium of private investors took control in December 2020.

It looks like the Bahrain investors still control the racing portion of McLaren. Their F1 racing team did amazing this year winning the constructor's title, yes. It was pretty close for the driver's championship, too. Maybe Lando Norris will have better chances in 2025.
