The cost is in the legal process.

You can't count other costs you want to spend anyway.

I'm not mad. What you're feeling is cognitive dissonance.

The total cost of a capital punishment is about 10 times the total cost of life imprisonment.

You can not count the cost of imprisonment itself if you're an idiot, but that's a larger proportion of the costs for life imprisonment, so that would serve to make the imbalance in costs greater.

I'm not supporting killing babies, I supporting abortion rights. They end long before there's a baby.

My ethics is reality based. You've got to make up absolutely ridiculous claims like the costs of a trial don't count and barely differentiated clump of cells with no brain is "a baby", to support your brutality.
