And how would they deliver a nuke to kyiv? Both their cruise and ballistic missiles have been neutered by the patriot systems. They would have to drive it there which would need a 40 mile long convoy of backup, and look what happened last time they tried that

Weren't you paying attention? A patriot round just shot down a hypersonic. Ukraine is now covered by Patriots. There's no nuclear delivery vehicle remaining to ruzzia except for literally loading up a truck and trying the 40 mile convoy again

Are you playing stupid? What's your evidence for 'lol no it didnt'?

        I am telling you bro.

You need to re-configure your worldview. Because the threat of ballistic nuclear missiles is over. Patriots will leave a football pitch sized area covered in molten nuclear slag, that anyone with a geiger counter and BBQ tongues could safely clean up.

The era of ruzzia as a nuclear threat is over.

Air Force commander Mykola Oleshchuk said in a Telegram post that the Kinzhal-type ballistic missile had been intercepted in an overnight attack on the Ukrainian capital earlier in the week. It was also the first time Ukraine is known to have used the Patriot defense systems.

the Pentagon’s top spokesman confirmed Tuesday.

"I can confirm that they did down a Russian missile by employing the Patriot missile defense system. As you know, that system is part of a broader range of air defense capabilities that the United States and the international community have provided to Ukraine," said Brig. Gen. Patrick Ryder in a press briefing.

A journalist from Bild went to inspect the wreckage

BILD found the place where the rubble is kept and examined. The Russian hypersonic missile (“Kinzhal”) – previously a mysterious “superweapon”, now destroyed and disenchanted by Patriot anti-missiles.

        Heres a video they took

And it's only a matter of time

Sure maybe after the three day war failed in Feb 2022.

Or maybe they'll use nukes in March 2022 when Ukraine didn't surrender in Belarus.

Or maybe they'll use nukes in May 2022 when Ukraine didn't surrender in Ankara.

Or maybe ruzz will use nukes after Ukraine invaded the four new ruzz oblasts in the fall.

Maybe it will be Ukraine's 2022 attack on the Kerch bridge that receives a nuclear response?

Or maybe after their winter offensive failed.

Or maybe after White Rex and his DRGs crossed into Belgorod region and supposedly kidnapped a ruzzian school bus and killed cops.

Or maybe after the drone strike on the kremlin.

Yeah maybe one day a "red line" will be crossed by Ukraine and ruzzia will use a nuclear ballistic missile.

And it will be shot down by patriots just like the attempt this weekend.

I dunno man, you seem to be saying a lot of words to avoid acknowledging that a Patriot shot down a hypersonic and now the nuclear threat from ruzzia is over

which cost more than £2m each

Damn, I seriously doubt they're getting 2 mil worth of damage from these things. We need Costco to start making Kirkland Cruise Missiles. Get that cost down.

            What's a soldier worth?

In the developed world, a civilian life is worth about $5,500,000 give or take about $4,500,000.

But that's including the value to the individual. Probably that doesn't matter to a soldier: But $2,000,000 is cheaper than a single tank, even if that tank is unmanned.

Which shows the value of those inflatable tanks Ukraine has been deploying.

            [–]Musky 1 insightful - 1 fun1 insightful - 0 fun2 insightful - 1 fun -  (1 child)

It's still more economical to kill a 5 million dollar soldier with a $2000 missile than a $2 million dollar one.

Which shows the value of those inflatable tanks Ukraine has been deploying

Not that they aren't useful, but if you've seen pictures of unexploded Russian ordinance, they're not even the Kirkland brand, hell, they're not even the store brand. It looks like shit Ivan welded together in his shed.

Sure. You'd want to hit a target more valuable than a soldier. On terms of cost to Russia, you'd want to hit a stack of soldiers. Hell, they've got guys on the front line that they're hoping won't make it home.

My point is that you can get to $2M pretty quickly on a battlefield.

Fake HIMARS drew fire from some 3M-14 Kalibr missiles, which cost $1M, give or take quite a bit as the ruble ebbs.

In case you haven't realized, we are mid-way into World War.

It may seem like your country has financially screwed up causing pain back home. These aren't mistakes; they've culled the weak and old, ostracized descent, modified swathing amounts of laws, and tightened finances back home, ready for a large and prolonged war.

Since a patriot took out their ballistic, ruzzia don't pose a nuclear threat to anyone. What could they even threaten the UK with

            [–]Dune1032 1 insightful - 1 fun1 insightful - 0 fun2 insightful - 1 fun -  (0 children)

The UK should also supply the Eurofighter Typhoon. Storm Shadow is an air launched missile. The West must supply Ukraine with the weapons it needs to win the war. The war cannot be allowed to continue for years. The loss of Ukrainian grain is causing hunger in the world. The war is diverting the world's resources from fighting climate change.
