People already know those groups have hateful rhetoric

The Proud Boys has gay and minority members. What's their hateful rhetoric?

I have read the Wikipedia page. Do you have any proof for your claim that the Proud Boys engages in hateful rhetoric, or is it just what you've been led to believe so you parrot it.

I've read up on them. It appears they're the target of a deliberate smear campaign to vilify them for being a conservative values based organization for men. I don't agree with them, but their message is overall not awful. I again ask you to provide proof of your claim.

You're feeling abused because your values are challenged and you cannot defend them. Makes you wonder if you have been misled about this, what else you've been misled about.

          Take the red pill, Neo.

Wikipedia has information? Last I looked it was mostly bullshit and propaganda. You got anything more reliable, like tea leaves maybe?

But water is NOT wet. How would you wet water? It would have to be dry to begin with, and then there just isn't any water. Water is wetNESS, which is not the same thing. So there.

Wikipedia is the perfect "source" for subversive forces to use in order to disinform and gaslight people. So yeah, tea leaves are a source too, by that standard.

At least the White House press secretary isn't claiming any of these groups are under attack days after they shoot up a school.

Good. Let the world see the effects of the poisonous bullshit the gender fags are foisting on these lunatics by claiming that TG prostitutes who get killed by their johns are somehow the equivalent of a Nazi genocide.

Except there never was a Nazi genocide, so you are saying the harm they're doing is as imaginary?

I just saw someone mention that Audrey is now her dead name. 😂

Not calling for censorship, but I wish news sources wouldn't plaster these shooters names and faces everywhere. It seems like many of them are going for fame and the media is happy to oblige.

Yeah I don't disagree, they definitely incentivize these people to martyr themselves for a cause. Though in this case I just want the people reading the NYT to realize that trans rhetoric isn't all about sunshine and rainbows, and has real consequences. It shouldn't have had to come to this

                [–]ShekelPa 1 insightful - 1 fun1 insightful - 0 fun2 insightful - 1 fun -  (0 children)

That's the idea. This is how the establishment carries out their attacks against their own people without implicating themselves.

Yeah, this kind of media coverage could encourage copycat killers, and maybe that's the point.

If the enemy can't kill us, he tries to get us to do the dirty work, and he is very successful.

Part of me thinks they shouldn't. It will encourage fame seeking nutters.

Let it be realised of the course of the inquest, like the other evidence.

Yeah it does. And I'd draw a very nuanced line here about the cost/benefits of doing this. If we have another alt-right mass shooter with a manifesto, no don't give them any fame, the cost of this far outweighs the benefits of releasing it when the public already knows alt-right groups are preaching harmful and extreme rhetoric.

Now in this particular instance, I think a very large section of the population has no idea how toxic the trans rhetoric is because they get all their news from the NYT and MSNBC (my family for example), and the public benefit of informing people as to the nature of this ideology outweighs the costs of further publicizing this shooter.

Yea, yea, yea. They are going to drag this out as long as they can and beat this to death. I'm not watching the news for a month.

Will probably be rewritten or redacted.
