Sounds like a grim situation from everything I've heard so far. It might be Turkey's biggest quake in recorded history and the buildings in the part of the country it hit are not up to modern construction standards.

It's just an amazing coincidence that Turkey blocked Sweden's joining NATO and now this is happening. The timing of things is rather peculiar.

Just a coincidence, amirite.
