This is definitely true that we are heading for an ice age....it may take a few thousand years if not 10K years. Every temperature chart we have shows this.{1} {2}

We like to be deceived with charts such as a ~10K or less. These framed charts look great to fool people, because it was just coming out of a glacial period, yet the little ice age and mini ice age made the temp plateau off, making it seem like a spike near the present. We also like to look at 100 year charts, but those are not climate. 100 years is a meaningless blip of noise in a climate history chart, even a thousand years is.

Sure, we are heating everything up by covering the Earth with concrete and steel, but we don't even understand temperature or carbon cycles enough to make reasonable ballpark guesses. We like to use ridiculous climate models, which assume the surface temperature is constant, vertically, all the way up to the stars. We have no accurate surface temperature data either, thanks to concrete and buildings being too close to sensors for the last 25-ish years. When the terrible state of this was exposed in 2015, the US simply added more stations and a had-wavy algorithm which adjusts their values to be more like the flawed data.

We need to stop using gas and oil...because we will need as much as possible for humanity to survive the next ice age.
