So China backing down, Iran backing down... protests work.

So can we get on wit it already?

Baffles me that it even existed, given all the other challenges Iran faced after the revolution in 79. Ironic that women students were pulled into that and within two weeks after the revolution their rights were curtailed. Scary the power of religious furvor.

Students are often highly religious just so long as that religion isn't the norm among their parents. Just look at the woke religion in the West now.

Even during the revolution black clad young women were shouting with religious fervour to prove themselves better than everyone else. They took over because the liberal women were too soft to stand up to their extremism. Again, that's what we see in the West now.

Now we just need the UK government to do the same.
