Wow look how much more loving and tolerant Islam is than Christianity!

Yeah but Iran was very modern before the West started meddling in the 1950s.

That isn't true.

The upper middle class were globalists just like they are in every country but the rest of the country was very backwards, religious and hated the urban elite. Hence why they supported the Islamists taking over.

That's a useful and important distinction to make. +1

IBTimes isn't a reliable source anyhow.

This seems to have been first reported by Radio Free Europe, a well-known CIA front that delivers fake news to the public: https://www.rferl.org/a/iranian-woman-brain-dead-arrets-morality-police-hijab/32035501.html

From what I've seen, the deep state tends to make up stories about human rights abuses in Iran (and against most of their other adversaries). There ARE womens rights issues in Iran, but they proclaim these things openly because they don't believe it's morally wrong based on their twisted religious view of the world. The things they deny are usually because it's not true and fake news made up by US intelligence.

Notice the "eyewitnesses" saw her getting beat up INSIDE the van. Morality police vans in Iran have tinted windows so that you can't see inside: https://ifpnews.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/12/photo_2017-12-27_18-51-11-1068x739.jpg

Many years ago based in Dubai and had to travel to KSA a few times a month. A factory boss I was to meet with a no-show a Brit as he had been arrested at his own factory by the cute named "Police for the protection of virtue and prevention of vice". That's their name and his crime? He had been called to factory by a manager when they had a serious fire late at night and he showed up in short pants. Insane people then arrested him and off to hoosegow he went. Upon release off he went to a fuckoff back home to UK.

Frankly anyone who believes dealing with such a country won't come and bite them in the arse deserves everything they get.

I'm not sure I'd ever even visit an Arab country again, let alone work for the bastards.

Like an awful lot of people my speed working the ghastly high rise of UAE is a tick mark on the CV. Fuck muzzy has really nothing to do with it one must simply be cautious as it is known as the Las Vegas of MENA. Muzzy rules with LOTS of booze and hookers and dirty money. My one and only fun part was the Friday all-you-can-eat-drink those were a bit of a smasher. Glad I went and glad I absconded right off and abandoned my rocket car at airport garage just like thousands before me. Kept both key fobs of the Mercedes as souvenirs. Quite funny here it is 10 years later and several banks STILL sending me very threatening demand of payment notes to my spam email. "Report you for immediate arrest to Interpol" and replied a few times "do let them know to come find to arrest me in USA and I'll meet them with a 12gg shotgun at my door".

A lesson for the gullible women who fall for "love jihad".
