Prime Minister Petr Fiala, who leads the centre-right, five-party coalition, told CTK news service on Saturday that the protesters did not have the country's best interests at heart.

Goes to show again and again how out of touch politicians are. How is it in the best interests of regular people to freeze to death just to stick it to Putin?

He said that the organizers didn't have the country's best interests at heart, but it kinda looked like he wanted to dismiss the situation, which was a bad move.

Our government just put a price cap on gas and electricity so we'll see.

This is going to reduce the supply of gas and electricity. Russia and the Middle East want to be paid for the products they sell.

So far the government will pay for anything above the price cap. Also Russia is allegedly not sending gas to Europe anymore

Good for Russia, they will sell to China and be happy

And China will then sell to us. It's cringe honestly
