Everyone drinks recycled toilet water already.

It's called water.

yeah, technically that is correct...

but there is a difference between drinking directly from the toilet and drinking piss that has been recycled by mother nature.

i have been saying for a few years now that we are approaching a major water shortage and everybody seems to like to laugh it off.

now they are saying that we should adjust to drinking toilet water.

just fyi, this is what happens when you let the homos into the white house.

they fuck up every thing.

Much like famine are usually caused by politics rather than actual shortages the UK is really, really not low on fresh water and never will be.

The systems have been badly maintained so water is not being collected efficiently and is being lost through leaking pipes.

We had exactly the same situation in the 1990s and the water companies got a scare and sorted it out but over time they became lax again.

Likely they are pushing this because there's more money to be made in selling recycled water than investing in repairs.

this is a thing where people come into the forums to DENY that we have certain crisis situations going on...

i am pretty sure that we have a serious serious water shortage situation and that these deniers will refuse to accept the situation as it is..

we are facing a global catastrophe.

when we run out of water, may god have mercy on us and just kill us quickly.

You may have a water crisis.

The country known for being permanently rainy and grey does not.

This stuff isn't difficult.

You are playing into the hands of people hoping to make money out of a fear of scarcity if you take local or logistical problems and pretend they are universal.

In the US thats only allowed in Texas and Arizona, the vast majority of Americans are not drinking recycled sewage

You're right. US citizens rather drink the mislabelled chemical waste Pepsi and Coca-Cola sell. By the ton.

I think u/jet199 meant that ALL water is recycled. But regardless, I prefer to drink water that has been distilled and serialized by indirect exposure to a giant fusion reactor since the last time it passed through anyone's colon.

If it's good enough for astronauts it's good enough for grandmama.

England had been fucked ever since Hatcher. No wonder they sang "Ding Dong the Witch is Dead" when she passed.

We've been fucked before that, thank you.

Radio stations refused to play the number 1 of the week when she died lmao.

OR

They can recycle whatever they want and we just keep drinking water separate.

Like in bottles, or if you live in scotland the water from tap is just from lochs and tastes amazing.

Things wouldn’t be this way if the majority of people didn’t submit to obvious lies they see on TV"

I wonder what the effects to groundwater reserves would be if everyone was able to switch to septic systems rather than flushing all their freshwater reservoirs into the oceans or waterways.
