You didn't actually address or refute any of the arguments presented. This is just a non sequitur.

Sure I did, here's my refutation: Taiwan is a great ally for all the many reasons I listed. America stands up for it's values and the the underdog and pax americana, which has led to rising living standards and if you don't believe it then go back to 1940s lifestyle. Literally EVERYTHING I have written is directly on point and relevant to your article title (and the very different article content).

Now YOU have to try and refute MY arguments without running around In circles more and making yourself look foolish...

Taiwan is literally not an ally. We renounced that long ago in favor of the one-China policy. You know, a half century ago.

You're arguing against yourself - and losing.

Oh thank god you found a nitpick!! That means you don't have to engage with the content of the argument, which would be bad! Now you can focus on that, instead of how wrong you were about calling it all "ad hominem"!!

Taiwan is a great friend to the west for all the many reasons I listed. America stands up for it's values and the the underdog and pax americana, which has led to rising living standards and if you don't believe it then go back to 1940s lifestyle.
