Military commentators the world over, are stunned this year by the Russian army's incredible advance through Ukraine, towards their own borders.

Russia's world war two tactics have enabled an unparalleled progress, backwards through the Eurasian steppe.

Putin's three day operation stretches into its 133rd day, and he remains a tactical genuis.

The RFAF are taking a well-deserved operational pause to familiarise themselves with the burning fire of American HIMARS missile launchers. Soon they'll pick up their advance towards the border with Russia. Best of luck boys
