The Taliban has announced a ban on harvesting poppies used for making opium. The group warned farmers their crops will be burned and they can face jail. The CIA is going to be pissed.

A lot of the safer opiates are fully or partially naturally derived. That's why the "opiate crisis" was done, to wean our country off painkillers so we could leave Afghanistan.
