The geopolitical ramifications are far more significant for a war in Europe than the endless wars in the Middle East or North Africa. Never mind we hear constant whining about "Free Palestine".

To be fair, this is much more significant for several reasons.

First, this is Russia, a nuclear power and only 30 years ago one of the big two in the Cold War. They have the potential to bring World War III, unlike any of the aforementioned countries.

Second, Ukraine might be the largest country to voluntarily give up its nuclear weapons in exchange for peace. If Ukraine doesn't come out on top after this, its distinctly possible no one will ever disarm again, and many more might seek their own.

Third, Ukraines political and economic situation has been nothing like the aforementioned countries, several of which have never really known peace or prosperity. A "new" conflict there is practically the status quo. If war can come to one place at relative peace and prosperity, others in a similar situation better take note.

To be fair, if any other continent had managed to be near conflict free for over 20 years then people might be equally upset if conflict had suddenly broke out there.

there was the bombing of serbia. putin has talked about it a few times and while western eurpean countries and north america were projecting the ukrainian flag onto their national monuments russia projected the cover of a new york times article celebrating the bombing of serbia. there was a massive media campaign to promote westren intervetion in that conflict also, its amazing how it has been forgotten given that we were fighting evil itself. but america and its allies are always fighting evil, today in ukraine against ethnic russians, yesterday in our own nations against our own citizens who refused to get vaccinated.

i guess that is right, the conflict in serbia ended a little more then twenty years ago but the conflict in ukraine has been going on for eight years. if you start the clock befor the conflict in ukraine broke out there was the conflict in serbia. if you start the clock after the conflict in serbia there was the conflict in ukraine.

Unlike all those other countries Ukraine didnt give any reason for the attack.

Putins aggression is purely imperialistic in motivation. His justification equals almost word for word Hitlers justification for his invasion of Poland. Also like Hitler, Putin wont stop with Ukraine if he's successful.

Most importantly, Putins aggression exposes the weakness of the west to the whole world, especially the weakness of Bidens USA. The weakness of the EU has been self-evident for decades. This is the end of the pax americana, no matter what the outcome of the war will be. Maybe the west will recover but I doubt it. Nobody in the western world will lift a finger, take a risk, let alone sacrifice his life for this globalist orwellian hell that our leaders are planning for us. Of course the Russians arent a beacon of hope either. Theyre already exposing their own weakness in this war.

Ukraine made a huge mistake by betting on the west. Theyre right in betting on western values but the west itself has abandoned its own values so there wont be much assistance from this side. The future of freedom isnt in the west. Only a courageous people and a strong and committed military can grant freedom in this time of global degeneration.

So far most of the scenes out of Ukraine have been fake, they prevented citizens from fleeing, shelled their own people, are a human trafficking hub, have the servers with corrupt election data, have US biolabs in them, extreme corruption involving Biden and the Clinton's, all of MSM is backing Ukraine, and all info coming out of Russia has been cut off to the west...... Something seems off here doesn lt it.
