Why are they so desperate to get tested. If you're feeling sick you probably have it so stay home. If you stand in line with people, you must not be that sick if you can stand for hours, but you might catch it from someone which defeats the purpose.

In the UK they tell people if they have symptoms to isolate and they don't have to get tested and people get really pissy about it.

They want to prove they have covid. They want to prove they are part of something important.

Yeah I guess that's the same in USA right now too, I went to a pharmacy and there was a sign they put up saying they were all out of covid tests. I haven't seen any long lines like this though. Early on in the pandemic I got tested with the thing up your nose, if I knew it hurt so bad I wouldn't have done it, and now it blows my mind people are lining up to get that done, maybe it's not the same painful nose thing now though?

It's not supposed to have changed but I think they're purposely doing it incompetently now because people couldn't put up with it being done properly.

My friend just did that last night but in a car with a long line of other cars. And I was like, "Shouldn't you be in bed?". Bear in mind it was snowing cats and dogs outside.

were they feeling sick? if so yeah go home to bed. If not why get tested.
