Yes it is dishearening, I agree. But I also think they're deliberately tanking things with the intent of causing a revolution, and then they will control the revolution. But post-revolution, life will be pretty good, in order to imprint the positivity of a new semi-global system. Then after a decade or two, it will deteriorate and become authoritarian, and then someday that will collapse as well.

Just keep riding the waves of culture and someday things will get good again, probably in 5-10 years, I'd think. I don't know what is going to happen in the meantime though. Just be sure to have enough essentials on hand for a few months of living, if the supply chains have serious problems. I think that will be the actual main hurdle for most people, if it is to occur
