Rush job or did they have one on the shelf ready to go?

The Oxford team are saying it only took them a day to come up with the actually vaccine the entire rest of the development time was just testing.

As someone who's spent a lot of time around London NHS staff I'll say there's no group with more hypochondriacs in it.

If there's a one in a million chance of death from a vaccine then they will assume it will be them. If it's not them then they will get a psychosomatic version and moan about about it.
