Fuel shortages in the country with the worlds largest proven oil reserves.

Venezuela's known reserves tripled in volume in 2010..

Venezuela's known reserves equal the combined known volumes of both Iraq, and Iran. If the Venezuelan government does fall to US pressure, then the Venezuelan citizens will likely never get their country back.

It's mostly crued oil and we don't have the technology like to turn that oil into other products. I'm sure we do have light oil too but in lower amounts. Back in Rafael Caldera's second term, in which the country was going back downhill, we produced just about everything and even exported fuels to other countries, but now we have to import the fuel we use because of the socialists fucking up the oil industry.

Overall, a US controlled president might not be perfect, but It would surely be a whole lot better than the socialists and regardless of what may happen in the future, I will eventually reach power and become Caudillo in order to turn Venezuela into a true powerhouse.
