If you owned a goose that allegedly laid golden eggs, would you ever allow anyone to examine that goose?

You can build a museum around the goose, and charge lots of money to see the goose, but if anyone were to ever questions the authenticity of that goose then your cash cow might just die - if it were fake.

Maybe you know it's fake. Maybe you don't.

Would you take that risk?

Yeah I thought about that but didn't say it. Perhaps I was being optimistic that someone would sneak a look at the goose, at it were. Because I would totally let the goose be safely examined, but I grant that most people would certainly not.
