Typhus and starvation were serious war-time problems killing many, including the slaves at the work camps.

Anne Frank's diary was half written in ball point pen which wasn't invented yet. Half of her story or more is myth.

https://www.annefrank.org/en/anne-frank/go-in-depth/authenticity-diary-anne-frank/ states fountain pen. Are there PDF scans, etc of the primary sources that will allow for better analysis than he said she said?

I don't have questions I need answered. Do your own research. Find diverse perspectives. Make up your own mind.

Also, AnneFrank.org likely has an agenda - to uphold the "official" narrative.

Yeah I expect that. I was just hoping someone could link the primary sources. I realize I'll have to get a translation, but I'm not scared of textual analysis.

All dead links: https://anne-frankhistory.weebly.com/primary-sources.html :(

Thank you. So uh, some quick legwork on the second link says "The original copy of the diary has never been released for public (sic)." The second brings this link https://www.hdot.org/debunking-denial/af3-ballpoint-pen/ which disagrees with what we are trying to discover.

It seems that no one has (thought to) simply do a super high quality scan to either prove or disprove the claims. :(

If you owned a goose that allegedly laid golden eggs, would you ever allow anyone to examine that goose?

You can build a museum around the goose, and charge lots of money to see the goose, but if anyone were to ever questions the authenticity of that goose then your cash cow might just die - if it were fake.

Maybe you know it's fake. Maybe you don't.

Would you take that risk?

Yeah I thought about that but didn't say it. Perhaps I was being optimistic that someone would sneak a look at the goose, at it were. Because I would totally let the goose be safely examined, but I grant that most people would certainly not.

The first ballpoint pen was patented in 1888.

They did tests on the ink. They know what kind of pen was used. Look it up.

Two loose annotation pages and some page numbers. The rest of the diary was written with a fountain pen.
