I really don't think his views are basic at all. He has more in line with sovereign citizens IMO.

Apparently my understanding of basic was wrong. I thought it was supposed to mean "someone that thinks they're all that but really isn't anything special", but most of the UrbanDictionary definitions are about having unoriginal and boring tastes and interests.
