Its also an open secret that CA Governor Gavin Newsom and his current wife are swingers. But in San Francisco, where Newsom made his political career, swinging not necessarily looked down upon.

I think the corrupt have hijacked the culture of SF. According to this article, Newsom was elected because he was backed by 8 powerful families, including the Pritzkers. Virginia Giuffre said an owner of a large hotel chain abused her as a minor, and most believe this was one of the Prizkers, who own the Hyatt chain. It's fine if it's consenting, stable adults but a few young and damaged people end up in that scene who end up doing things not good for them and have bad outcomes. There are abusers everywhere.

I agree that adults should be able to do whatever they want as long as it is consensual. But involving children or people who did not want to be a part of it is not acceptable under any circumstances.
