This is the way pedophilia works around the world. People in power, judges, procecutors, police, priests, and politicians, protect their own. Get rid of them.

I'd say it's about time you dusted off that ol Punisher costume of yours.

Get to it!

Ha. BTW, did you notice that the movie Cracka is no joke. It's really coming out. This is all getting to be a bit much.

What does "trafficking child porn" mean? I think I saw a stat where white men are over represented in this "trafficking". I don't want to ddg that :p

It usually means sharing it. This could be as insidious as someone trading things intentionally in private chat rooms, or as innocent as someone downloading a mislabeled porn torrent and leaving it up seeding for two days. Depends entirely on what the prosecutor felt met the criteria for the charge. Prosecutorial discretion in how charges are levied is itself one of the largest flaws in our system.

This article is propaganda intended to shine a light on a legitimate problem (broken justice system), but omits too many details to draw conclusions from.

Prosecutorial discretion is what makes it possible for your torrenter to not get such an inane charge.

How would you design the system instead?

That's the crux, isn't it. It's easy to point out problems but solutions are more difficult.

One of the things prosecutors frequently do is load up suspects with dozens of frivolous charges that wouldn't stick in court, to terrify the stupid into accepting plea arrangements. I think we need to look first and foremost at tightening up the procedures that facilitate indictment, under the current system you can indict a potato. At least some level of hard evidence of guilt or intent should be required to acquire an indictment/formal charge. Grand Juries shouldn't be rubber stamps for whatever charges prosecutors want to levy, they should act as a check and balance in the system.

time for the judge to be identified widely. we need meme makers to crank out infographics exposing this family of evil

This is disgusting. How do we have a war on drugs with manditory minimum sentences but people with toddler porn get probation. Refund the police. End the war on drugs. Start the war on child molesters murderers and rapists. That should have bipartisan support.

I actually think it does, except that decriminalizing drugs will get controversial fast once we get beyond pot.

TV cops go after pedos, murderers, and rapists when the writers want a clear-cut morality tale.

And next-to-nobody actually wants to eliminate police funding. Even most of the people saying "Defund the Police" are deliberately bullshitting because it's a catchy soundbite; they actually just want to restructure departments to make cops more accountable.

Know you can get fined and jailed for criticism of Israel and Zionism but you're fine raping a 13 year old.

Thesis: You gotta fight this shit military style without compromising your own ppl: So hit their most valuable and prominent targets (their communication, e.g.) hard and fast before they even realize what happened, these other snakes will divert their focus on keeping their faked social status, because they finally start to fear to pull off more of this bs. .

He shouldn't get jail time. Build a gallows outside the court, or give him the euthanasia pills after conviction. Simple way to make society safer, and help remove these genes from the gene pool.

I read about that earlier. Dude is on some whole other world of fucked up to get off on infant porn but jail won't help. Hell I don't think jail is even typical in such cases.

Jail would help by putting a wall between him and everyone else. For a little while at least.
