The wiki article you posted was all.over the map. With data from 2016 to 2002. A google search will show about 25 000 a day die of hunger. WHO also supports this. OP original source link will lead you to worldmeters who further links sources that support 25 000 a day. Edit: correction

Actually no. The table I used is from 2016. But let us pretend it was from fourteen years earlier. Just for amusement's sake. Are you saying that while deaths from starvation per day in that year was just under 2,000 now the number is more than ten times as many? That seems wonderfully imaginary.
