I personally felt this was the case from the beginning. The level of hysteria and lack of preparation proves that. It's been around a lot longer than they're admitting too.

Here's what's fascinating about the coronavirus that no one is mentioning. Deaths in China quickly outpaced past epidemics such as SARS, bird flu, etc. And yet while the flu season world wide is coming to an end, cases outside of China are significantly lower to straight up non-existent.

Yeah I have been curious to see graphs of the number of infections and deaths over time outside of China (since no one trusts China's numbers), but have seen no such graphs presented anywhere in the media. If they want to convince me this is a real problem, that'd be the way to do it.

Kinda shrugged it off at the beginning, but here we are weeks later where we find out that it looks engineered to be similar to HIV, is being treated with HIV drugs, and the fact that the second time you catch it is worse since you don't build up an immunity to it really makes you think.

If this whole thing blows over, I'd like to see what the long-term effects are, especially if it's similar to aids.

Yes this part is a bit crazy... I've not heard of a disease doing something like that before.

Also the twist about it focusing on the ACE2 receptors, which are more commonly present in the lungs of males, and in Asians.

This disease has all sorts of odd characteristics. I do kind of wonder if someone planted it there from outside of China. Like imagine if the US or someone sold China this bioweapon, and then a few months later caused an outbreak next to the facility with the same bioweapon. China wouldn't know if they did it or someone else did. And the blame can fall neatly on China, with few suspecting anyone outside China as being the cause. Just a theory, but it does make a few part of the story make more sense. It's just as possible it was a genuine leak too though, who knows.

Well, It's not the first time biological weapons are used this way, but yeah, It's possible it was a natural leak.

Hopeful this gets a discussion going on the world stage about the ethics of bioweapon engineering.

dengue fever does that

but that makes it less likely a bioweapon, and something theyve had last year and the year before

Interesting I didn't know that about dengue fever.

Here's the list of evidence: http://esr.ibiblio.org/?p=8566

Basically it appears to be a modified AIDS virus, which is why some people think it's a bioweapon.

Also the guy who drafted the Bioweapons Legislation for the US is saying it's a bioweapon: https://dcdirtylaundry.com/watch-creator-of-us-bioweapons-act-claims-coronavirus-is-a-biological-weapon/

How the hell are authorities supposed to contain this? I hope the virus does gives in if your inmune system is strong enough...

It sounds like your body can beat it 95% of the time, but then you can get re-infected again after the fight is over, and then the rate of death is higher for the second infection because your organs are already weak or something. That's what I've been reading. Some of the people infected the second time are dying from sudden organ failure before they even show other symptoms. It sounds pretty crazy tbh, but I also think there's a lot of misinformation/disinformation floating around because there's been so little time to observe and study this new disease, so I would take all this would a grain of salt before there's more confirmation.

I heard that practicing Falun Gong cures it.
