Maybe if we decriminalize it locally first?

A disgraceful tragedy.

A sobering documentary was made about this concerning US soldiers stationed in the Philippines when a naval Base closed called Left By The Ship.

On a side note:

I had a prank concept where I would pay some kid to knock on my buddies front door and ask..

"Are you [Insert name here]??? My mother's name is [name of notable one night stand]..."

Whatever they discussed after that isn't really important, because I'm sure the adrenalin would already be pumping from a surreal experience.

If this prank situation happens to you, then the counter attack prank would be lean out of your door and survey the street suspiciously.
Then quickly and suspiciously invite the kid inside.

It you're an honorable man, then inviting your potential child is the right thing to do.
If it's a prank, then the pranksters will quickly jump in.

Tragedies can be excellent inspiration for prank concepts.

Lemonade, from lemons... :-/

Men are swine. Years ago, my ew-wife called me from Panama. It seems the maid had a fifteen-year-old son that “looked just like you.” I took emergency leave and flew down there. The DNA test cost me $600. I paid for a family lawyer. I paid for the kid’s last year in high school.

Turns out he was not my kid.

The really remarkable thing was the number of my co-workers who could not understand me trying to do the right thing. Men are swine.

I don't know that I've got an opinion on this anymore. Look at the USA, or any country for that matter. There's a lot of kids without parents, or given up to adoption, or given up to the streets, or sold into human trafficking. There's not much of any mention for, or of this.

It's endemic for people everywhere to point to someone else, in comparison, usually by way of "I'm not that bad", or "Our society is more civilized than that", or et el. It embodies the same mindset as the thought process of, "The grass is greener on the other side of the fence"... Except instead of being better, it's used to paint a different portrait.

Leaving aside the chance of having children who would be left without support, I can't understand why anyone would not use a condom in a situation like this, particularly given that you're sleeping with a prostitute who is likely infected with multiple STDs. That borders on Darwin Award-level stupidity.
