I'm waiting for the big earthquake to drop on ISTANBUL. It's directly over a fault line and if you look back in history at the major earthquakes of the region you'll see that they are progressively crawling along that fault and it's simply inevitable. It's just a matter of when and how bad. Might still be 20 years away. Might be tomorrow.

I'm so sure of it, I've included it in my /s/BittersweetSeeds story set in 2045-2050-ish.
