Some critical context is they have historically high grenade crime rates, because grenades are far less criminalized than guns.

Hell, most Swedes won't even admit they are happening, much less admit that they are anything close to an emergency. They ban discussion of the "cause" of the explosios too. As a form of racial discrimination.

If people are rarely being killed or injured, then is it really an emergency?

As of 2018 there were +60 events, with 2 killed and 10 injured.

A 3.3% lethality rate for grenades means they're definitely not trying to actually kill people. "Close" counts with hand grenades....

That makes it a terror phenomena, which should be ignored.

Yes, people being killed/injured and property being destroyed and burned is the definition of an emergency. What's worse is that the issue is escalating over time. How will things look in another decade or two?

Why would you assume that they aren't trying to kill people? In war, a bullet has approximately a .001% of killing someone (it takes approximately 10,000 rounds per kill in modern war) but they are still definitely an attempt to kill.

Cause I've thrown live hand grenades, and I know that you don't have to try hard to get your target.

Infact, one of the two people who died before 2019 picked up the grenade by accident. So, it should be 1 dead out of +60.

The entire purpose of terrorism is to terrorize. Not necessarily to kill, etc.

If the public reacts in fear, then they win. It sounds like they've already scared you into compliance.

Lmao if you want to be a coward and act like nothing is happening while the terrorists engage in terrorism, have at it. But why lie to stick up for them? I've fired guns before and you don't have to be very close to kill people, does that mean shooters who miss are only intending to scare? Or does that mean we don't know what their intentions are, but they are clearly bad intentions.

Meanwhile, saying "react in fear" is such a flash metric. Acknowledging a problem and reacting in fear aren't even related. But you knew that, so I think you're just looking for conflict.

Surely you understand that the purpose of terrorism is to get people to react in fear.

Reacting to terrorism encourages terrorism as a useful tactic. This will encourage the use of additional terrorist attacks in the future.

If people don't react, then terrorism isn't useful, and it can only implicate the criminals once caught.

But you knew that, so I think you're just looking for conflict.

How is a reasonable response considered fear? Fear means rushed reactions, poor planning, dangerous decisions. Not calculated steps to avoid a problem. And if people don't react, they up the ante, so to speak. They don't just quit for the heck of it. These aren't toddlers throwing tantrums. Ignoring them won't make them go away.

Liar.

How is a reasonable response considered fear?

Why do various groups commit acts of terror? What is the purpose, and why does it work?

Why did the public in the US capitulate to outrageous changes like the Patriot act etc.

If you can answer these questions for yourself, then you may understand how fear is used to get people to voluntarily surrender their rights and freedoms.

The swedish are probably going to have some Patriot act related laws passed in the near future, assuming they cannot manage the terrorism induced fear.

And if people don't react, they up the ante, so to speak. They don't just quit for the heck of it.

Capitulating will encourage more terror attacks. Pressure needs to be placed on investigations into the criminals who are responsible.

Terrorism is like a political tantrum. If you give in, then you can expect more of the same.

Not sure what most of what you said has to do with what we are talking about, but I'll just clarify my position here. If a group of people are coming in and committing a bunch of crimes, then that group needs to have increased scrutiny when they arrive. And the ones that are already there should not be protected by political interests. Instead the SHOULD be investigated by police and actually punished. Instead of being excused of their crimes. Bombings are tiny of fraction of what those people are doing to the Swedes. And this is a rational response that applies to any non-protected group, and has literally zero to do with fear. You keep obsessing about fear and it is unrelated to how governments need to protect their country and its people/property.

This is 2019, and explosive materials can be chemically traced with relative ease. These attacks aren't difficult for investigators to track

If immigrants were detonating explosives, then they'd be in jail and their names would be splashed all over the TV and local papers. But they're not, because they aren't doing this.

You need to accept that this is a PsyOP that is probably being perpetrated by the Police or some Swedish NATO group.

This is a modern version of Operation Gladio and the Swedish public are the PsyOP target.
