I suppose that is bad, and I also suppose it is supposed to say that Trump is bad and all (which, yeah sure, he is). BUT, if the US is so dependent on on a foreign nation (with questionable viewpoints on things like freedom and civic liberties, if that matters at all), is it really that bad to try and wean off of the dependence? Let us face it, most of the things China is producing for the US (or Europe) could, and maybe even should, be produced locally, no?

It would be better for local wages, local population, local industry and even the environment: To see the latter, consider 2 things: 1. You need to ship supplies to China, who than assemble it, and ship back. That is a lot of CO2 2. The environmental standards there are not as high as in "the west".

Just my 2 cents.
