Once this goes on for long enough, I guarantee at least 99 percent of people will choose to be chipped. After spending enough time observing circlejerk websites (reddit, voat, twitter, etc), I've realized that virtually all people do not think for themselves in any capacity whatsoever, and just follow the status quo. Keep in mind that literally anything that's considered taboo would easily be accepted by society if the status quo changed, and that's all it would take.
