I guess most people in these situations are trying to stay out of sights so nothing bad happens to them but yeah I agree with your feelings. World is a truly weird place in the end.

If they look scared and don't want to talk about it , I would count it as a normal reaction, but they are not, they don't look scared, they are indifferent.

Hm true that... I wonder what's going on in their heads 'cus this is truly weird way of handling the situation. Counter-argument would be that people react differently under stress but this feels like something else.

They are not living in "here" as someone got an autism, they feel they are in a better place.
