Honest means honorable, splendid, possessing integrity. It doesn't mean truthful. Truthful does. Using honest as a stand on for truthful is, first of all, morally incorrect. Integrity may involve deliberately lying, and telling the truth can be treachery and malice. Secondly, honest has a specific connotation and denotation which is eroded when normies treat them as identical. I'd really prefer most of them didn't speak at all.
Hypocrisy is claiming to hold a belief or value one does not. It doesn't mean inconsistent or failing to live up to your own standards. Hypocrisy may result in this, or does not consist in it.
Idiots treating words as interchangeable is death to language. Or civilization is clearly on the decline, and this is a major field. Most college papers, written by midwit morons, are utter nonsense.
This isn't a complaint about linguistic change in general it's about bad linguistic change driven by masses too stupid to know what words mean because they can't form subtle concepts in their pinheads.
Most writing today is atrocious. Newspapers are written by cretins. None of these fucking clowns should have passed their English class, of course most teachers never should have, either. I could spell and speak better than any teacher I've ever had by the time I was 11. It amazes me how normies don't realize how stupid they are.
there doesn't seem to be anything here
