You sure this is legit? They sell jams like that here at gas stations and smoke houses and it all comes from a 3rd party retailer that lets you slap those homemade looking labels on them.

Dude, what? Are you saying it's common place in the US?
I don't know about you in the Wild Wild West, but us here in commie Canuckistan have lots of laws that make no sense and prevent scammers and lawyers from thriving. We have more red tape per capita than any nation if you want to run your own business, fact. That's not even taking into account the food/health hurdles. But I suppose it might make it a lot easier to just take a Heinz Catsup and slap a "Mrs. Homesworth's Tnasty" label on it. Suckers gonna suck and not gonna lie, 75% of the flavour comes from the label anyway. Consume moar product.
