The 2014 coup, admittedly backed by US, installed pro western Nazis in power. Russia views this as bad. Russia hates nazis on a basic level, as they all have family who has died to nazis.

I saw an interview that said Ukrainians don’t view nazisism as an issue. They are Russian violence as an issue.

Prohibition of the Russian language. 38 percent say it’s their native language. 65%, or whatever, use it in daily life.

How else would they separate from Russia. A country gets to choose its national language.

forced Uakraninazation, or whatever.

I mean, this seems like tyrrany with more steps. If half the population is Russian, they might want to divide the country into two working states. Like how the US has 50 states. Maybe Ukraine needs two.

Ukraine stole land from Russia. Farm land that is important. That’s also where all the Russians live. The right part of Ukraine.

Interesting history. Russia may have motive for a war.

Ukraine developing into an anti Russia, through the elites and military.

Again, motive.

nato military exercises in Ukraine.

I find this argument compelling. All the bad stuff going on, nazis and Russian culture destruction, but military exercises on the border would provoke some kind of response.

nuclear power

I find this motive really compelling. I sympathize with Russians who say they don’t want nukes in Ukraine.

bio labs

Very compelling

8 years of shelling

Very compelling.

Everything you said there is bullshit. Russia is after Ukraine's resources plain and simple.

The resources are on the east of the Dniper River, not the west.

There are oil and gas reserves all over Ukraine and it's territorial waters. Eastern Ukraine is Ukraine.

Ignoring the other resources they have such which are far larger than just oil.

And those are recognized independent republics.

They aren't independent republics. They're Ukrainian territory occupied by Russian scumbags.

So basically, ignore the eight year civil war to dehumanize.

Got it.
