It has everything to do with the Way of the Bern

Explain like I'm 5. How?

your attempts to appoint yourself arbiter are laughable.

Backatcha.

Backatcha.

If you had actually bothered to read the sidebar, you would have found this:

Agreement is not a goal; Civil engagement is.

Unity is not a goal; Tolerance of others is.

Conformity is not a goal; Enlightened debate is.

Many of us are newly awakened and angry at what we see. Hopefully this is a place to channel that anger, to vent those frustrations, to laugh at the absurdities and cry at the inhumanity, and in the process find ways to expose those in positions of authority who have long since forgotten who they serve, and replace them with those who do.

If you had bothered to explore a little further you would know that this SaidIt mirror of the WayOfTheBern sub at reddit is set up according to the exact same principles and that I am a moderator at both. What you wouldn't know but will now is that I was a member of r/WayOfTheBern from its inception in 2016 so maybe I have a little better understanding of what it's about than you do since your username is completely unfamiliar to me.

No one here, least of all the moderators, is required to justify the content of the sub. But as a courtesy merely, I will say that any discussion of opinions that dissent from the approved narrative is relevant to the founding philosophy of the original sub. It's up to members to decide whether they want to engage with a post or not, upvote it or not. Nobody is forced to be here and nobody is forced to read a post or comment.

I read it. None of that has anything to do with my question.

I am now forced to assume that you are trying to build a community sub here and on Reddit, rather than a topical sub, blog sub, feed sub, etc.

I don't care about TheBern or TheDonald but I do like to post topically, and now I use /s/Progressivism as a more general sub, especially since Bernie sold out, again, and made himself a joke.

If you had bothered to explore a little further you would know...

...more about the general SaidIt community and...

...since your username is completely unfamiliar to me...

...despite the fact that I'm one of the most active users here.

I'm not against community subs at all, but SaidIt is very small by comparison to Reddit (whom I care nothing for), and my interests are in SaidIt as a whole.

Next time you can just say it's a community sub (maybe add that to the sidebar) and point to your relevant sidebar links to Reddit:

  • What is WayOfTheBern, really?
  • FAQ: Why Is This On A Sanders Sub?
  • Relevant: "Get this garbage out of the sub!"

Good luck with your communities.

Gracious exit. Ta-ta.
