Shows how messed up the media is. You'd have to be pretty oblivious to think the US can't feed its people. Most of the people begging at the intersections are 300 pounds and up.

Bullshit. You've never stepped into a homeless shelter or a soup kitchen then.

The giant line of cars waiting for food in Texas just a few months ago was a symptom of what exactly? America has a child poverty problem, and we're supposed to be the most prosperous nation on the planet. I agree though, the media is messed up and it rarely, if ever, reports any of this.

Maybe I've seen more of the world than you have... and therefore have a wider perspective to compare to.

I've travelled to a few "third world" countries, don't presume you've seen more. A homeless person in the US doesn't give a fuck where you've been. Disparity is a building block for the sociopaths who own this country.
