In Denmark, McDonald's workers get $22 an hour, 1-year of paid family leave & a pension. In America, McDonald's workers make $9/hour with no benefits and pay more in taxes than our self-avowed billionaire president. But a Big Mac costs 27 cents more in Denmark. Oh, the horror!

You are not forced to work at McDonalds are you? You can go work any other job you would like correct? I didn't think we had got quite to the point of communism quite yet. And if you want to know why wages are so low for low skill jobs you have no farther to look than our border. When you flood the market with a bunch of low skilled people you tend to get really low wages for low skilled jobs.

Also these big fast food chains train you and move you up very quickly if you're a good worker. They know most of their workers see them as temporary employers until a job with higher status comes along.

Denmark has 50% tax. So you're actually getting 11 EUROS an hour, also the cost of living is higher. Also, it's a country of 5.8 million people? with 500 people in government to manage this population, that's a pretty good representation. In the US you only have one foreign intelligence agency expected to run everything for 350 million people.

Taxes in Denmark are really high and everything costs a lot more.

If well organized, more payment to the lower class really improves the overall economy and living standard. ;-)

I think there needs to be a free market that is not corrupt. We understand a corrupt market.
Monopolies, extortion, wage-slavery, excessive penalties, huge differences between classes.
But a market should also be fair. We all have different ideas of fair.

The US president did pay taxes (source Tim Pool). The reported tax returns were fake news (as usual).
They already showed it in the previous election.

You can't really look at it in isolation. Differing government and health care providers.
