Except Bernie is outright lying. Amazon paid $1.2B in taxes last year. According to Bernie, that is $0.

But who taxes the taxer?

I’d rather corporations paid my salary than Bernie’s.

Fairly certain the US has enough money.

tldr: it’s legal because it’s the law.

Taxbreaks are incentives, silly - and it's been this way for decades I'm sure. Do you want a company driving for pure profit - or would you rather they took some of their profits and invested it in equipment and R&D to offset taxes? The idea is that if companies invest more, it is better for the economy than if they just pump out profits.

I guess Bernie would rather companies would just pay more taxes and potentially even reduce their profits (to pay less taxes), rather than invest more in their company. That way the government can do what THEY want with that money. Is that better for the economy and/or the country as a whole? You be the judge I guess.

And thanks to Trump, LLCs and LLPs no longer have to pay their fair share either. They pay a maximum of the second tax bracket, 22% or something. It's good for mom and pop shops, but I figure it will mostly benefit lobbyists and law firms and others who make huge profits.

I thought corporations were private companies though and they could do whatever they wanted. 🤔

They meant aside from dodging taxes and breaking laws.

kardashians and other fampous millionaires and billionaires are like a buffer class for the real rulers, bankers, who have infinite money since they control the money printing presses
