They just want to force everyone on their shitty official app so they get all the metrics/spy data from your mobile device.

Oh, like in my case, people will just find an alternative, like Saidit, and leave Reddit because it's becoming far too restrictive.

Shame. I used RIF for years and it was a good app (despite it being for reddit). There's no way the developer can afford the API costs and will have to shut it down. Way to support independent developers, reddit! Like they don't have enough money.
