The concept of "degeneracy" should be a rallying point for the culture wars. We should popularize the term as much as possible and get people thinking about why degeneracy is bad for the health of communities and nations

"Degeneracy" was quite literally one of the Nazi's favorite whipping boys. They applied the concept to people, races, sexual orientations, political ideologies and even styles of art, and railed against it whenever they needed to get the sheep worked into a frothy lather.

It's telling you want to resurrect this.

While I do not support meatball4u ~ I also think your comments are very "telling" as well. The nazis did lots of things. Are we supposed to self-censor for the rest of time because the nazis existed? Invoking Hitler every two seconds is the peak of being anti-progress.

The Nazis' attacks on "degenerate" races, cultures, etc., was a core tenet of their racist ideology. It was not, as you imply, just one of the many things they happened to believe, such as "abusing animals is bad" or "smoking is unhealthy".

OP is trying to revive a core Nazi belief. As full of Neo-Nazis as Saidit is, this is not surprising. And people should be aware of it.

But meatball4u wasn't talking about race. No one but you is.

But 'degenerate' invokes race when applied as a term describing society. Hell, 'genetics' and 'degenerate' share the same root! It's not at all some big leap, especially when it is a known neo-nazi talking point to insinuate race while avoiding explicit mention of it. Looks like it, smells like it, sounds like it... is that rain on my leg??

The logical conclusion would be that not everything the Nazis did was evil. I think that believing one race is more degenerate than another is ignorant, but being against degeneracy like pedophilia and overfeeding oneself til the point of major disease is morally correct. r/AgainstDegenerateSubs has banned loads of subreddits with child porn and sexualization as well as ones where people encourage each other to consume as many calories as possible so as to become disabled and sick. I'm not joking, it's sick and wrong, but the people often defend themselves by saying things like "it's my fetish, you shouldn't judge". There was even a sub they banned where people purposefully overfed their cats to create "chonkers" for likes and karma, and many of their cats died of disease. If Nazis are against that kind of thing, I guess Nazis aren't totally bad

Reddit's degeneracy is due to three factors:

  1. Marxism

  2. Pornography

  3. A lack of ethics

Saidit isn't like that, we don't have Communist admins who abuse their power to push a political agenda onto us, we don't have porn, and we have the pyramid of debate. That's why they're degenerate and we're not.

Reddit? It's just a proxy website of the Communist Party of China (Tencent invested $150M into Reddit and every since it's become more leftist and censorship has become rampant). It can't be saved, it just can't. Reddit needs to die.

Shameless plug, but I wrote an essay about Reddit and how utterly horrible it is: On Reddit: The Cesspool of the Internet.

This subreddit will quite likely get banned, because not only do the Reddit admins support pedophilia, but they're full-on Communists who want to degenerate our Nation and moral values to the point of non-existence, and will not hesitate to utterly destroy any and all opposition.

Also, I want to note: in the video you talk about r/LGBTP being banned years ago, but people still talking about it on other subs. This is because that sub was banned years ago, however, r/LGBTQP was created to evade the ban, and that's what people are talking about. I didn't even look it up, you show it on the video lol

Reddit's degeneracy is due to three factors:

  1. Marxism

LOL. They're hypercapitalists that treat everything as a commodity to be sold, including their users.

  1. Pornography

They certainly have that in spades. But how does that make reddit "degenerate", whatever that is?

  1. A lack of ethics

Obviously -- they're businessmen driven by the lust for profit. When has such a creature ever had ethics?

LOL. They're hypercapitalists that treat everything as a commodity to be sold, including their users.

Capitalism and Communism have more in common than either do with Syncretism. These materialist ideologies focus solely upon items and instant gratification, rather than the bonds between people and shared commonalities.

Furthermore, you can have Marxist Capitalism. Marxism is simply the application of Communist principles espoused by Marx to aspects of society. It may not be economically Marxist, but it is, indeed, Marxist in all but that.

But how does that make reddit "degenerate", whatever that is?

I shouldn't have to explain how porn is degenerate. It's inherently materialist and serves only as instant gratification, nothing more. Pornography is the best manifestation of the Capitalist-Socialist, Materialist ideology. It degrades one's moral foundation and makes them subservient to their primal instincts — it makes them an animal incapable of reason.

Obviously -- they're businessmen driven by the lust for profit. When has such a creature ever had ethics?

Yes, when you focus on items rather than people, ethics become merely a nuisance. Capitalism and Socialism both have this trait, thus are inherently immoral ideologies.

I once had someone try to tell me that Reddit was 18+ only, and therefore we shouldn't try to protect children on the site.
